Jellycat Football Club: Every Football & Soccer Ball

Jellycat released the Jellycat Football Club in 2026 — a set of Amuseables built around football, including national soccer balls for Mexico, the USA and Canada, and a supporting cast of match officials: Walston Whistle, Fowla Red Card and Warni Yellow Card.

The Mexico ball is the one people search for most, and there is a reason for that: it was released as an online exclusive, later than the others. Limited distribution is the most common way a Jellycat becomes hard to find — see how limited editions and exclusives work.

Which one is which

The three national balls share a shape and differ in colourway — Mexico in red, green and white; USA and Canada in their own national colours. They are easy to confuse in a photograph, so check the tag or the SKU (Mexico is AS2FMEX) rather than going by colour alone on a second-hand listing.

The referee characters are separate designs rather than size variants, and are usually priced lower than the balls.

A note on the World Cup

The 2026 World Cup — hosted by Mexico, the USA and Canada — finished in July 2026, and this collection was released earlier the same year. Jellycat was not an official FIFA partner: the official World Cup plush licence sat elsewhere, so these were football-themed Jellycats rather than tournament merchandise. Treat any listing that claims otherwise with caution.

Now that the tournament is over, the interesting question for collectors is what happens to these designs next. Tournament-timed releases often stop being restocked once the event passes — which is the usual route to retirement, and the point at which prices start to move.

Buying second-hand

Two of these are still in production at the time of writing, so a second-hand price well above RRP usually means the seller is pricing on hype rather than scarcity. Our estimates come from current eBay listings for the same item, and where we can't find enough matching listings we show no estimate at all rather than guess.
