When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and any optional profile details you provide (such as your name and country). When you use the service, we collect data about your collection activity — items you mark as owned, wishlisted, or for trade.

We also collect basic usage data such as which Jellycat pages you visit, which we use to power features like "Most Searched" on our homepage. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Rare Jellies service. Specifically:

• Your email is used for account authentication and, if you request it, password reset emails. • Your collection data is used to display your collection, generate stats, and power community features like global collector rankings. • Usage data is aggregated to surface trending items on the homepage.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Rare Jellies is built on Supabase, which stores data in secure, hosted PostgreSQL databases. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. Data is stored in the ap-south-1 (Mumbai) AWS region.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. These are necessary for the service to function and are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information from your Profile page, or contact us to request full account deletion.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy) • Vercel — hosting and deployment (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)

These services have their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
