Price history charts are being rebuilt
We found that our price charts were comparing apples with oranges. Earlier resale figures came from a different method than the ones we use now, and plotting them on one line made prices look like they had swung wildly when really only our method had changed. One bunny appeared to jump from $61 to $838 — it hadn't. We've removed the old figures and charts will now only compare like with like, so most items show no chart for the moment. They'll come back over the next couple of weeks as we build up readings taken the same way. The resale estimate shown next to each item is unaffected.

Correcting release dates and details across the catalogue
We've been checking our records against Jellycat's own wording and independent shop listings, and correcting what didn't hold up. About 90 details have been fixed so far — mostly release dates that were more precise than the evidence justified, plus a few colours and measurements. Where we only know the year, the page now says so rather than inventing a day. This is ongoing across roughly 20 designs so far, so if you spot something still wrong, please tell us.

Search now finds a Jellycat by its product code
If you typed a product code like BAH2BB into the search box, you'd often get nothing back — or a long list of unrelated bunnies. Search was only ever looking at names, so codes slipped through. Now typing a code takes you straight to that Jellycat, and it works for older codes too: if a product has been listed under a different code in the past, that still finds it. Searching by name works exactly as before.

Search is back on mobile
The search bar was missing from the site on phones — it only ever appeared on wider screens. Tap the menu button at the top right and you'll now find a search box right at the top, so you can look up a Jellycat from anywhere on the site without hunting for the Browse page first.

We're removing resale prices we can't back up
Some estimated resale values were calculated from eBay listings that weren't actually the same toy. Searching for a rare bunny often returns twenty *other* rare bunnies, and the average of those isn't a meaningful price.
We now check each listing against the specific item before using it. Where fewer than three genuinely matching listings exist, we remove the estimate rather than show a number we can't stand behind. This mostly affects rare and special-edition items, where the estimates were furthest off.
You'll see fewer resale estimates as a result, but the ones that remain are based on listings for the right toy.
