About Amuseables Blue Spruce Christmas Tree
Jellycat's own copy calls him "a chunky conifer with mossy wavy fur" — a cone of ruffled blue-green plush on a dark brown corduroy trunk, weighted with beans so he stands where you put him, with black button eyes, a stitched grin, and a beigey-gold star tipped on top. That trunk is the detail collectors point to: it makes him read as a tree rather than a triangle, and it's why he holds a mantelpiece or a hall table better than most soft décor.
He belongs to the Amuseables, Jellycat's line of cheerfully anthropomorphised objects, and he arrived for the 2022 festive season. We know the year but not the day, so release is shown as a range. Jellycat has since introduced a Nordic Spruce alongside him, so you have a choice of Christmas tree designs.
He was made in three sizes, and the Really Big is genuinely a piece of furniture at 92cm. Sellers routinely describe him as retired, but he still appears in Jellycat's own index at our last check — that may mean sold out rather than gone. We can't tell which yet.
- Exact release date — year-only bound; no primary source gives a day or month.
- Whether the design is retired or merely out of stock. Sellers say retired; Jellycat's index still lists it.
- Whether the Small was ever sold under the name "Little" or "Original" as some shops title it, or whether those are shop-invented size labels.
- Whether the Really Big was a same-season launch or added later — bumbletree first listed it 2022-11-25, but a shop listing date is not a release date.
- No sold-price data. Everything we hold is an asking price.
