About Amuseables Coffee Cup
The Amuseables Coffee Cup is Jellycat's takeaway-free answer to the morning ritual: a charcoal cup with a suedette ombre latte swelling over the rim, stubby corduroy boots, and a Jellycat stencil embroidered into the foam on top. Jellycat's own copy calls it "a classic blend of rich textures and delicious colours, with notes of quirky charm" — and the texture mix really is the point, cordy against soft pile against smooth suedette, which is what makes it read as coffee rather than as a brown cylinder.
It belongs to the Amuseables Food & Drink corner of the range, where it has coffee-shaped relatives: the taller Coffee-to-Go with its cardboard-cup sleeve, and the smaller Espresso Cup. Collectors mix these up constantly, and secondhand listings are worse — check the name and the SKU, not the photo.
On availability, be patient rather than alarmed. Jellycat still lists it, but archived snapshots show it flicking between in stock and sold out repeatedly across 2024 and 2025. Out of stock here has usually meant restock, not retirement.
