Beau is one of the Bashful bunnies' quieter colourways: pale blue fur, long floppy ears, and a soft peach nose. He was a US-market colour rather than a worldwide one, which is the single fact that shapes everything about how he's collected — plenty of people who love Bashfuls have simply never seen him in a shop.
He is no longer in Jellycat's own index, and every stockist we track shows him sold out, so he reads as retired. We can't put a date on when he arrived; nothing we've found supports a specific year, so we'd rather leave it blank than guess. The listing description we have says he came in six sizes, which is more than our own catalogue accounts for.
