About Bashful Blue Bunny
The Bashful Bunny is the design Jellycat is best known for, and Blue is one of its quiet constants — a pale, powdery pastel rather than a bright one, with black button eyes, a peach nose and the long floppy ears the range is built around. Jellycat's own copy for the family describes "scrummy soft fur in a beautiful pastel shade of blue" and calls out the flopsy ears and squishy feet, which is a fair account of what the Huge feels like at roughly half a metre: less a shelf piece than something a small child leans on.
We don't have a trustworthy release date for the Huge, so we're not going to guess one. Worth knowing if you're shopping: from Autumn/Winter 2023 Jellycat may have renamed its sizes, so "Huge" could appears as **Big** and "Medium" as **Original** — although there's some question about this, older stockist listings still use the old words for the same bunny.
The Huge has been missing from Jellycat's own index across our last five checks, while the Tiny and Medium are still listed. That may mean sold out, or retired — we can't tell which yet.
