About Jack
Jack is the cat from the logo. He is the tuxedo cat with the wobbly orange jelly on his head who has sat on Jellycat's label since the company began, and for the brand's 25th anniversary he was finally made as a plush in his own right — part of the limited Heritage Collection that also brought back Fergus Frog and Junglie Monkey. Jellycat's own copy is unusually pleased about it: "Jellycat Jack is finally here!" Soft tufty fur, huge stitched paws, a long curved tail, L-shaped paws, and a velour crown of that iconic jelly.
He arrived in early 2024, alongside a world tour Jellycat sent him on to mark the milestone. We know the year but not the day, so the release is shown as a range.
For collectors the appeal is emblematic rather than scarce: this is the mascot, in the flesh, in a run Jellycat itself called limited. The Really Big is still listed by Jellycat; other sizes have dropped off our recent index checks. That may mean sold out, a size discontinued, or the whole line winding down — we can't tell which yet.
- Exact release date within early 2024
- Whether the Medium/Huge/Big sizes are sold out, seasonally paused, or retired
- How large the 'limited edition' run actually was — no primary source gives a number
- Whether Jack was ever offered outside the Heritage/25th Anniversary line
- Whether 'black and white' or 'black and cream' is Jellycat's own colour wording — sources use both
