About Puddlesea Bunny
Puddlesea Bunny arrived with Jellycat's Summer 2026 nautical wave, and she's a Bashful at heart — the same floppy-eared, bean-weighted shape collectors have leaned on for years, redressed for the coast in a patchwork of seaside blues. Jellycat's own telling makes her a beach artist rather than a swimmer: a creative genius whose medium is whatever the tide leaves behind, sand, driftwood and seaweed worked into sandcastles. She keeps her paws firmly on the sand while her sea friends take the water.
Only one size exists — the Original, at roughly 31 x 12 x 9cm and about 23cm sitting. The personalised versions and the jumper variants are separate products with their own codes, not sizes of this one.
She still appears on Jellycat's index, so she isn't retired, but most independent shops we track are showing her sold out. That is what a well-received summer character usually looks like a few months in — pressure, not scarcity. Nothing yet tells us which it will become.
- The exact first-sale date for this SKU. 12 May 2026 is the Summer 2026 collection launch, not an observation of this product on sale — we know the month, not the day it reached buyers.
- Whether the widespread sold-out state means a sell-through, a seasonal line ending, or the start of retirement. We can't tell which yet.
- Jellycat's own wording for the colour. Secondary reporting says 'ocean-blue patchwork', but we have no primary colour term.
- Whether a size other than the Original exists. Nothing corroborates one, so we assume not.
