About Yummy Bunny
Yummy Bunny is a squat, weighted little rabbit with flopsy ears, a pink nose on a snowy muzzle and a wee fluffy bobtail. Jellycat's own copy calls the silver one a "teeny-tiny treat for little paws" and a "lopsy poppet"; the mint is described as ruffled, weighted-eared and curious, and the tulip pink as two-tone, warm pink against white. That is the appeal in a sentence: not a display piece but a pocket companion, the sort that gets carried.
The design ran as a small family of colourways — beige, tulip pink, lavender, mint and silver — and collectors sometimes treat the beige as the original. Yummy Pastel Pink Bunny is a separate design, not a sixth shade of this one.
Availability now splits along colour. The beige still appears in Jellycat's own index; the four coloured siblings have been absent from it for five consecutive checks. That may mean sold out, seasonal, or retired — we can't tell which yet. Sources disagree on the release year, so we don't pick one.
- Exact release year — our own rows disagree (2017 for four SKUs, 2023 for Silver) and the human verdict recorded both as credible. No primary source found dating the line.
- Whether the four absent colourways are retired, seasonally out, or simply sold out.
- Whether Silver was a later addition to the line or contemporaneous — its 2023 stored year and the fact that jellycollector's five-name list omits Silver entirely are suggestive but not evidence.
- Second-hand value. The one eBay observation naming this product is a live asking price, not a sale.
- Whether the beige or the silver holds the canonical /yummy-bunny/ slug on us.jellycat.com — the search index shows that URL titled 'Yummy Bunny Silver', but the page returned 403 and could not be verified.
