About Fossilly T-Rex
Fossilly T-Rex is Jellycat's tyrant king rendered entirely without menace: soft green fur where scales ought to be, a squishable snoot, a long squidgy tail and two comically teeny arms. Jellycat's own copy has him "rambling about, making big prints with those chunky feet" and giving "Cretaceous cuddles" — which is the whole joke of the Fossilly range, a line of dinosaurs (stegosaurus, triceratops, brontosaurus, pterodactyl and this one) built to be cuddled rather than feared. He's stood upright on thick legs, with black bead eyes, embroidered nostrils and a stitched smile.
He is no longer Jellycat's to sell. Their US site showed him as discontinued by November 2025, the EU site by January 2026, and he has been absent from Jellycat's live index across our last five checks. Stockists we track are uniformly out of stock. Interest on the secondary market is steady, and sellers lean hard on "retired" and "rare" in their titles — but those are asking prices, not sales, so we won't tell you what he's worth.
