Fossilly Brontosaurus (Mini)
Retired: Yes — date unknown
The Fossilly Brontosaurus Mini is a wonderfully squishy and cuddly dinosaur soft toy that brings prehistoric fun to life. This magnificent creature roamed the Earth during the Jurassic period, 150 million years ago, and was among the largest land animals to ever exist. As a cherished member of the Fossilly series, this adorable Mini version captures all the charm of its larger counterparts while offering collectors a delightful smaller size to add to their collections.

About Fossilly Brontosaurus
Fossilly Brontosaurus is the long-necked member of Jellycat's Fossilly dinosaurs, a range that also gathers a T-Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Pterodactyl in the same soft green, scale-free style — these are dinosaurs drawn as cuddles rather than as reptiles. Jellycat's own copy describes it as "minty-soft, with a long, long tail and a strong stretch neck," a chunky chum that "loves to rumble along on squashy feet, singing a bronto-chorus!" In the hand that reads as a light green body on tiny legs, black button eyes, and a neck that flops rather than stands — the medium is 26cm tall and 12cm wide, and the mini is a pocketable 8cm.
It is gone now. Jellycat's European store showed it in stock through September 2024, out of stock by January 2025, and marked discontinued by October 2025; it is absent from Jellycat's live index today. That makes it a resale-only find, and sellers reliably use the words "rare" and "retired" in their titles — which tells you about asking prices, not about what one actually sells for.
- Actual release date — only a year-only bound (2020) exists, and no primary source corroborates the year.
- Whether FOS6BRON and FOS6BRO are genuinely two products or one product under two codes.
- Whether the Fossilly range's smaller sizes were retired at the same moment as the Medium — we have archive evidence of discontinuation only for FOS2B.
- Realised sale prices. Everything observed is an asking price on a live listing.
- Where Fossilly Brontosaurus sits in the range's launch order relative to T-Rex, Triceratops and Stegosaurus.
